Nestled in the rolling hills of West Central Wisconsin along the banks of the Eau Claire Chippewa, and Red Cedar Rivers, you will find the cities of Eau Claire, Menomonie, Chippewa Falls, Town of Union, Town of Wheaton, and Altoona. Each of these areas offers their own unique flavor and history.
Visitors can experience area museums, learn about the lumber industry, see beautiful historic homes that were built for lumber barons and an authentic replica of an 1890's logging camp. The Valley is also home to hundreds of acres of parkland - offering picnic, camping, and sports areas, as well as places for boating, fishing, and swimming.
The Chippewa Valley also boasts three major state trails that attract bikers, skaters, and hikers to our area (over 70 miles of trail!).
